dc.description.abstractThis paper examines the Problems of Working Women due to her dual role. The human society has understood that everyone has to work for fulfilling their economic requirements. Raising the cost of living needs the women participation in the employment opportunities to tackle the family income constraints. As a result, they have to balance between work domain and family life domain. Hence, this research based on the issue and solution of the employed women in government, non-government and private sectors in kinniya secretariat. The primary objective of this research identifying what kind of problem created by dual role and their causes and solution are the sub objectives. A mixer quantitative and qualitative method was used for the study. Primary data collected through questionnaire survey, in depth interviews based on questionnaire and indirect observation. Secondary data collected through reports, magazines, articles etc. Purposive sampling used to supply questionnaire. Collected data analyze by using MS-Excel and thematic highlighting. Finally, the study revealed that the dual role of working women are causes to face problems individually, family, socially, psychologically and religious wise. Even through women servant are very powerful, respected and feared organizations because of their gender identity they have to bear most of the problems as other women in society. Recommendations such as social awareness initiatives, getting husband’ help, establishing day care centers, etc. It is hoped that the findings of this study will assist the human resource managers, practitioners and strategy makers to better understand women problems.en_US
