Beneficiaries information system for Sareeram Sri Lanka National foundation (inc.)

Abstract

Sareeram is a nongovernmental service organization situated in Batticaloa. Micro financing is the main activity of this organization .It provides loan facilities to the farmers and other less privileged people in the districts of Ampara and Batticaloa. As it has been managing its beneficiary's information manually, it encounters a number of problems. That lead to an unhealthy situation resulting in low productivity and inefficient management. In order to eliminate those problems an Information system called Sareeram Beneficiaries Information System has been developed. This system can be used to store, modify and delete data about beneficiaries and produce reports about beneficiary as needed by management. In order to develop this system Micro soft Visual c# language and Micro soft Access has been used. It is believe that system would be useful one to run the organization efficiently and to take a management decision in time.
