இலங்கையில் மஸ்ஜிதுகளினூடாக மக்களுக்குக் கல்வியூட்டல்: மலேசிய மஸ்ஜிதுகளை மாதிரியாகக் கொண்ட ஆய்வு

Abstract

முஸ்லிம் சமூகத்தில் மஸ்ஜித் வணக்கவழிபாடுகளுக்கு மட்டுமின்றி வாழ்வின் அனைத்துத் துறைகளுக்கும் தலைமைத்துவத்தையும் வழிகாட்டல்களையும் வழங்குகின்ற இடமாகக் கருதப்படுகின்றது. நபி (ஸல்) அவர்கள் மதீனாவில் உருவாக்கிய அல் மஸ்ஜிதுந் நபவீ இதற்கு நல்ல உதாரணமாகத் திகழ்கின்றது. இலங்கையைப் பொறுத்தளவில் பள்ளிவாசல்கள் வணக்கவழிபாடுகளுக்கும் சில சடங்குகளுக்கும் உரிய இடமாகக் கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. வாழ்வின் அனைத்துத் துறைகளுக்கும் வழிகாட்டும் இடங்களாக அவை பரிணமிக்கவில்லை. இந்நிலையில் அப்பள்ளிவாசல்களை கல்வி வழங்கும் கல்விநிலையங்களாக எவ்வாறு மாற்றியமைக்கலாம் என்பதை ஆய்வு செய்வதாக இவ்வாய்வுக் கட்டுரை அமைகின்றது. அதற்கு ஒரு மாதிரியாக (Model) மலேசியப் பள்ளிவாசல்கள் கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளன. மலேசியாவில் இயங்கும் மஸ்ஜிதுகள் நவீன தொழில்நுட்பங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தி, பொது மக்களுக்குக் கல்வியூட்டும் விடயத்தை கச்சிதமாக நிறைவேற்றி வருகின்றன. அதற்கான சிறந்த வழிமுறைகளையும் அவை கைக்கொள்கின்றன. அதனால் அம்மஸ்ஜிதுகளை அடியொட்டி இலங்கையிலுள்ள பள்ளிவாசல்களும் பொது மக்களுக்குக் கல்வி வழங்கும் பொறுப்பை நிறைவேற்றுவதற்கான வழிவகைகளை இவ்வாய்வு முன்வைக்கின்றது.

In the Muslim community, the Masjid is considered to be a place of leadership and guidance not only for worship but also for all aspects of life. The Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, established by the Prophet (PBUH) in Madinah, is a good example for this. In Sri Lanka, mosques are considered to be the place of worship and some rituals. They have not evolved into guiding places for all aspects of life. In this case, the article sets out to explore how mosques can be transformed into educational institutions. Malaysian mosques have been taken as a model for the study. Malaysian Mosques are using modern technology to educate the general public. They also take the best steps to do so. Therefore, this study presents ways for the mosques in Sri Lanka to fulfill their responsibility of providing education to the general public by following those mosques in Malaysia.
