Tourism has brought people from different nations and religions close together by bridging the gaps among them. It enhances social change at macro and micro level through promotion of material and spiritual development. Sustainable tourism developed because of the concern related to the impact of unsustainable tourism on society, environment and economy. Quality of life is the interaction among social, economic, ecological, and fitness conditions that have immense impact on human and social development. Sustainability is a process, and the sustainable business cycle depends upon several stages. The administration of Kanyakumari district may consider different ways of improving communications with their stakeholders by focusing on the economic, environmental, social, political, and technological aspects, and their implications on the sustainable tourism development which in turn enhances the quality of life of the local residents.en_US
